If the company's MOCVD equipment, which was introduced in 2009 as "150 units" (Uye), is put into use, it is estimated that the monthly output of the chip can reach about 2 billion. In addition, Uno also predicted that the monthly production capacity of blue LED chips will increase from 1.33 billion in 2009 to 3.67 billion in 2010 after Nichia Chemical Industries has increased its production capacity. He also said that compared with the experienced manufacturers of blue LED chips such as Nichia Chemical Industry, Toyota Synthetic, American CREE , Osram Opto Semiconductors and Philips Lumen, the companies involved in the LED production field face the problem of the gap in the strength of the technology.
